This entry level course will cover the basic firearm skills required for personal and home safety, personal defense, loading, unloading, fundamentals of marksmanship, clearing malfunctions, weapons handling.

This course will introduce all aspects of stress training, which will encompass all skills learned in both Tactical Pistol 1 & 2. Additional training consisting of advanced shooting while moving, the use of multiple targets, and use of hand held light/weapon mounted light, and low/no light shooting techniques will also be taught.

Concealed Carry:

This course exceeds the NRA certification standards for a Concealed Carry Permit. This 8-hour course will teach the client basic tactical marksmanship skills. This course will introduce basic firearm handling skills and fundamentals required for personal defense. We focus on the mindset and methodology necessary to properly handle a firearm in a real world environment, while feeling confident in their ability to use the firearm. Every client no matter what their ability regardless of shooting experience will have a positive experience.

This course focuses on all aspects covered in the concealed carry course, while introducing multiple stress drills. It will incorporate malfunction drills, shooting while moving, moving to cover/concealment, and shooting from various types of cover/concealment. This will prepare the client for various situations, ensuring they have met their comfort level in their ability to use a firearm.

Low Light / No Light 1:

This is a class to introduce students to shooting while holding a flashlight.

This course requires proof of basic firearms proficiency.

Proof of prior firearms training with a certificate of training from an accredited firearms training school (NRA, RHK, etc.) or participation in an approved/recognized competitive shooting event is required.

It is preferred that you do not bring a weapon mounted  flashlight since we will be practicing different ways of holding a handheld flashlight with your support hand while shooting.

This is a live fire class.

Some of the subjects to be covered in this class are:

Flashlight types; pros and cons.
5 different methods of holding a flashlight and their origins and the pros and cons of each.
Dry Fire practice will be done before beginning live fire.
Review and practice of RITUALS.

Requirements – Your legally owned handgun. Eye and hearing protection. A bright handheld flashlight, preferably with a retention strap, a strong/sturdy belt that must be attached via belt loops to long pants, an Outside The Waistband (OWB) Holster that attaches securely to your belt, a mag pouch or speed loader that attaches to your belt, a garment to conceal the firearm. A minimum of 200 rounds of ammunition. You must be proficient with basic firearms safety and gun handling skills: stance, grip, trigger control, follow through, load mag or cylinder, reload, slide stop, sight picture, and sight alignment.

The low light and no light class will be conducted on an indoor range.

Men’s Self Defense Seminar:

Learn functional self-defense for everyday situations including escapes, striking & weapons. Krav Maga is the most realistic self defense program in the world as taught by the Israeli Defense Forces.

The first two hour portion of this seminar is taught by Krav Maga Instructors from Gold Hawk Marital Arts.

The firearms portion of this seminar is taught by RHK Instructor’s All protective equipment, firearms, ammunition will be provided.
Note: Individual can take any portion of course, morning Krav session, afternoon firearms session or both.
